How We Work.

Plotbank provides memorial plots to its beneficiaries to reduce the financial burden of the funerals they face by removing the cost of a final resting place for their loved ones.

We do this by:

Working with stakeholders.

Working with memorial woodlands, natural burial grounds, landowners and funeral service providers who will offer memorial/burial plots at a reduced rate to Plotbanks donor businesses.

Working with donor businesses.

Donor businesses purchase the memorial plots, which are then gifted to Plotbank, allowing the donor businesses to meet their CSR goals tax-efficiently.

Working with referrers.

Plotbank receives referrals for a final resting place from agencies such as local authorities, NHS, hospices, funeral directors, social services, GP’s or private individuals.

We are looking for industry partners to work with us by referring beneficiaries to our services, is this you? Get involved.

Working with beneficiaries.

Plotbanks beneficiaries face financial hardship due to having to bear the cost of a loved one's funeral.

Referrals to become a Plotbank beneficiary can be made either by a professional referrer or can be made directly to us by the beneficiary themselves.

Self-referral: If you face real financial difficulty due to having to pay for a funeral, you can apply to Plotbank for a memorial plot which will significantly reduce the cost of the total funeral bill.

The memorial plots that have been donated to Plotbank by our donor businesses are allocated to Plotbanks beneficiaries, who will receive the exclusive right to interment.

Contact us to self-refer.

You can find out how to get further assistance on our information and support page.

Working with nature.

A native sapling/tree is planted, marking the memorial plot and forming a part of the new memorial woodland and nature reserve.

We are Looking for volunteers of all kinds - Woodland Volunteers, Ecologists, Article Writers, Marketers, Fundraisers, mental health professionals, grief counsellors and Funeral Industry Incumbents. If this is you and you want to get involved, then please get in touch with us.
