Memorial plots are granted to Plotbank’s beneficiaries to reduce the financial burden of the funerals they face by removing the cost of a final resting place for their loved ones.

Plotbank works with strategic partners, including; independent funeral directors, local authorities, hospices, GP's and NHS, to allocate memorial plots to beneficiaries who face funeral poverty.

Having a place to inter and visit a passed loved one is a vital part of the grieving process. Unfortunately, many people suffer emotional stress and guilt over not providing for a final resting place due to financial difficulties. Some of the emotional stress is relieved thanks to the Plotbank.

Plotbank will plant 10,000 trees at the new Helms Wood site in Lancashire. With an average of 100kg of CO2 being sequestered per tree planted throughout the tree's lifetime!

Plotbank plots are all planted with a native tree at the interment, helping to establish a new woodland. Once all plots have been allocated to beneficiaries, the site will become a nature reserve, therefore ensuring a diverse woodland habitat for generations to come.

There is a positive impact on the lives of those left behind who will have a place to visit to commemorate and celebrate the life of their loved ones, helping them through their grief.
